But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neşat Nihat couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Nusret Temizöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tayyip Sadik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Neşat Nihat elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Karabaglar SK's Arif Bilge Seyfeddin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Karabaglar SK from getting a goal against them. Münir Özonder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Arif Bilge Seyfeddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Münir Özonder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayas JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Münir Özonder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Münir Özonder got free with Arif Bilge Seyfeddin in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdulkerim İlham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyip Sadik, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Baran Bilge Okaner kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Çelik Songün hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Münir Özonder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Bilge Seyfeddin having to interfere. If Münir Özonder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute Münir Özonder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Bilge Seyfeddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karabaglar SK's Arif Bilge Seyfeddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neşat Nihat in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neşat Nihat in the 71st minute of play forced Karabaglar SK's goalkeeper Arif Bilge Seyfeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Münir Özonder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karabaglar SK's Arif Bilge Seyfeddin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neşat Nihat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Bilge Seyfeddin having to interfere. If Münir Özonder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Karabaglar SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çelik Songün to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Karabaglar SK booed when Ayas JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caner Safa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes Ayas JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Şenel Gazel who took care of the corner kick. In the 89th minute Neşat Nihat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Bilge Seyfeddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Nusret Temizöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Ayas JK were awarded a corner. Ahmet Turan Ulun went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 93rd match minute, Ayas JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlhan Yorgun to maneuver through the defense. Neşat Nihat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Bilge Seyfeddin having to interfere. Tayyip Sadik struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Abdulkerim İlham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karabaglar SK. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ayas JK had played much better football throughout.
