After 21 minutes of play, Beşiktaş's Caner Özgan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Bilge Seyfeddin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Beşiktaş's Ali Kağan Akkuş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Beşiktaş from getting a goal against them. Karabaglar SK's Arif Bilge Seyfeddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Tekinsoy in the 30th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Recep Talha Ersavaş put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Ali Kağan Akkuş, was totally fooled by Karabaglar SK's Şenel Gazel, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esat Erboy to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Karabaglar SK's zone, Caner Özgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Bilge Seyfeddin came out of the goal and Caner Özgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Beşiktaş's Ufuk Ekincioğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Bilge Seyfeddin. That made the score 1-4 after 62 minutes of play. A collision led to Karabaglar SK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Baran Bilge Okaner hit a great ball. If Caner Özgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ufuk Ekincioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ufuk Ekincioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute.
