In the 33rd minute Necmi Ünveren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samet Mustafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Balikesir SK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lemi Sufi hit a great ball. Balikesir SK's Samet Mustafa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Koralp Akçan in the 38th minute of play. Lemi Sufi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Atilla Kağan Kırgız didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Necmi Ünveren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Koralp Akçan in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samet Mustafa saved Balikesir SK from getting behind. Hamit Ceyhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilla Kağan Kırgız having to interfere. Balikesir SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
