The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Petkim's Arif Oğuz İcabi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kuddusî Mertkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Derman Kırman kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Petkim's İsmail Cem Cantürk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bedir. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celalettin Kotuz during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Bedir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celalettin Kotuz to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Petkim's İsmail Cem Cantürk tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kuddusî Mertkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Oğuz İcabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kuddusî Mertkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Oğuz İcabi in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Petkim's Arif Oğuz İcabi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kuddusî Mertkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Taha Reşat hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Gökçek Tarhun came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Petkim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökçek Tarhun couldn't finish the play. Hakkı Onur İlkser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akın Hatip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Onur İlkser in the 40th minute of play. Hakkı Onur İlkser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Akın Hatip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mithat Öztaş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akın Hatip having to make a save. Akın Hatip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Onur İlkser in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Oğuz İcabi was the one to do the kick off. Hakkı Onur İlkser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akın Hatip having to interfere. Hakkı Onur İlkser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mithat Öztaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arif Oğuz İcabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökçek Tarhun got free with Kuddusî Mertkan in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, Bedir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taha Reşat to maneuver through the defense. Hakkı Onur İlkser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Akın Hatip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mithat Öztaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Bedir's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Oğuz İcabi came free, but Kuddusî Mertkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Hakkı Onur İlkser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bedir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the referee ended the match the Bedir players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
