In the 6th minute, Mustafa Arif Orkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fazlı Ulutaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Mustafa Arif Orkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hacibektas's Fazlı Ulutaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Refik Halit Türev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Metehan Aşkın saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Metehan Aşkın was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Refik Halit Türev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. Mustafa Arif Orkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fazlı Ulutaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Arif Orkan's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Arif Orkan in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fazlı Ulutaş saved Hacibektas from getting behind. Ulu Adıgün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Metehan Aşkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ulu Adıgün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hacibektas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulu Adıgün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Metehan Aşkın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Istanbul SK's zone, Ulu Adıgün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Metehan Aşkın came out of the goal and Ulu Adıgün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Arif Orkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fazlı Ulutaş having to interfere. Mustafa Arif Orkan struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fazlı Ulutaş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Istanbul SK. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Arif Orkan made a kick off. Mustafa Hakan Uzma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fazlı Ulutaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Arif Orkan in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fazlı Ulutaş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 62 in the game by Mustafa Hakan Uzma from a close distance when the talented Fazlı Ulutaş managed to make a qualified save. Hacibektas's players were relieved. If Mustafa Hakan Uzma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Arif Orkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, Behçet Taciroğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Istanbul SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
