GALAKTICOS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Demirözü FK's Anıl Cenk Tüzünalp got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Cyprian Kieca lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Arda Baybars Şükür. The GALAKTICOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fevzi Ataseven should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the match, GALAKTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Ant Türkdoğan came free, but Fevzi Ataseven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Kieca in the 53rd minute of play forced Demirözü FK's goalkeeper Arda Baybars Şükür to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Demirözü FK's zone, Cyprian Kieca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Baybars Şükür came out of the goal and Cyprian Kieca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GALAKTICOS's Fevzi Ataseven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ant Türkdoğan in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Cyprian Kieca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALAKTICOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyprian Kieca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arda Baybars Şükür made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Engin Yiğitcan in the 64th minute of play. If Gencay Yamaner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fevzi Ataseven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ant Türkdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
