Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Demirköy SK's Sungur Kotuz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Mezarlikbasi's Özgür Baybars made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilla Bumin Pekel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 6 minutes, Necip Fazıl Belek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mezarlikbasi and the Demirköy SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mezarlikbasi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Necip Fazıl Belek hit a great ball. Atilla Bumin Pekel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Baybars in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Hulusi Ergazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 played minutes Mezarlikbasi got a freekick which was hit by Üzeyir Kara. 22 minutes into the game, Demirköy SK's Ahmet Nasir Kani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beyhan Budaklı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Atilla Bumin Pekel stood somewhat misplaced when Atakan Vecdet came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 25 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Özgür Baybars managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mezarlikbasi's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgür Baybars was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilla Bumin Pekel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beyhan Budaklı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Kani in the 30th minute of play. Atilla Bumin Pekel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özgür Baybars's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Mezarlikbasi getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Atakan Vecdet hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Mezarlikbasi's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nasir Kani came free, but Beyhan Budaklı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Özgür Baybars got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Atakan Vecdet took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Atilla Bumin Pekel to make any attempt to save it. Kutlu Üçok charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kutlu Üçok the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Baybars in the 48th minute of play forced Demirköy SK's goalkeeper Atilla Bumin Pekel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özgür Baybars to make the kick off. With a little luck, Mezarlikbasi's Beyhan Budaklı got control of the ball when Ahmet Nasir Kani tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Demirköy SK defense, Hulusi Ergazi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilla Bumin Pekel. The Demirköy SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilla Bumin Pekel should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Hazar Korkut in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mezarlikbasi's Necip Fazıl Belek. 66 minutes into the game, Özgür Baybars cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Atilla Bumin Pekel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Mezarlikbasi booed when Demirköy SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlu Üçok didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungur Kotuz in the 73rd minute of play forced Mezarlikbasi's goalkeeper Beyhan Budaklı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Nasir Kani scored 5-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beyhan Budaklı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mezarlikbasi's Beyhan Budaklı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutlu Üçok in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Mezarlikbasi getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hulusi Ergazi hit a great ball. Demirköy SK's Sungur Kotuz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beyhan Budaklı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Nasir Kani in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulusi Ergazi in the 96th minute of play forced Demirköy SK's goalkeeper Atilla Bumin Pekel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
