Mehmet Edip Karun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Mehmet Edip Karun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sungur Akbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Sabit Kutel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orkun Mutluer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koray Özdilmaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sungur Akbal having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Koray Özdilmaç made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Sultanhamam's Sungur Akbal threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Koray Özdilmaç, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Orkun Mutluer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabit Kutel, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 71 minutes into the match, Sultanhamam's goal looked a bit too open when Sabit Kutel came free, but Orkun Mutluer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sultanhamam's goalkeeper Orkun Mutluer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sultanhamam's zone, Zeki Durkaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orkun Mutluer came out of the goal and Zeki Durkaya tried to chip the ball over his head. The Orkun Mutluer was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
