The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdülhak Resai made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Müslüm Tecik sent off a good shot on target. Müslüm Tecik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayrakli's Abdülhak Resai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Bayrakli from getting a goal against them. Murat Selim Uçma succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bucaspor SK's Özen Bozkurt got a free kick in the 21st minute. Müslüm Tecik scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdülhak Resai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fuat Üster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turabi Akyel in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayrakli's goalkeeper Abdülhak Resai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bayrakli's zone, Müslüm Tecik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdülhak Resai came out of the goal and Müslüm Tecik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bayrakli's Abdülhak Resai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Selim Uçma in the 40th minute of play. Abdülhak Resai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murat Selim Uçma, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Bayrakli getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Akşemseddin Hancı hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turabi Akyel to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özen Bozkurt in the 52nd minute of play forced Bayrakli's goalkeeper Abdülhak Resai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cevher Tarık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murat Selim Uçma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Abdülhak Resai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Müslüm Tecik took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdülhak Resai. Abdülhak Resai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Fuat Üster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turabi Akyel in the 60th minute of play. Abdülhak Resai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Selim Uçma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes, Mustafa Numan Fazilet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayrakli and the Bucaspor SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute Murat Selim Uçma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdülhak Resai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayrakli's Abdülhak Resai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Selim Uçma in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murat Selim Uçma in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdülhak Resai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdülhak Resai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müslüm Tecik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murat Selim Uçma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdülhak Resai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bucaspor SK fully deserved thier win.
