After 7 minutes Gemerek JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tayyip Horasanlı who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Kerim Saik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gemerek JK's Gencay Canaydin did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Resul Demirağ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karpuzlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Resul Demirağ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencay Canaydin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gemerek JK's Gencay Canaydin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Tahsin İsmail in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, İnanç Yenal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gemerek JK and the Karpuzlu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Karpuzlu booed when Gemerek JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. İnanç Yenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Hasan Tahsin İsmail got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gencay Canaydin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hasan Tahsin İsmail in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes of play Gemerek JK's İnanç Yenal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Resul Demirağ got free with Gencay Canaydin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kubilay Bardakçı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baran Alp Baykut charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baran Alp Baykut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Tahsin İsmail in the 95th minute of play forced Gemerek JK's goalkeeper Gencay Canaydin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Hasan Tahsin İsmail shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencay Canaydin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karpuzlu fully deserved thier win.
