In the 3rd minute Sezen Şömel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ferit Özdağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TheBusbyBabes's Mehmet Ferit Özdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sezen Şömel in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Genco Mutlualp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TheBusbyBabes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genco Mutlualp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Ferit Özdağ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sezen Şömel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Sezen Şömel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilyos SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Vecdi Onursoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ferit Özdağ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sezen Şömel's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Genco Mutlualp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faik Kabadayı having to interfere. Mehmet Ferit Özdağ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pekin Arslan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Genco Mutlualp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ferit Özdağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vecdi Onursoy in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Kilyos SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vecdi Onursoy to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genco Mutlualp to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Kilyos SK got a freekick which was hit by Pekin Arslan. After 56 minutes of play Kilyos SK's Vecdi Onursoy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Kilyos SK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vecdi Onursoy hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Asaf Cihangir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Faik Kabadayı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Genco Mutlualp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kilyos SK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ertunç Sözmen hit a great ball. Pekin Arslan charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pekin Arslan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Kilyos SK got a freekick which was hit by Pekin Arslan. In the 76th minute, Asaf Cihangir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nasir Ergüner notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of TheBusbyBabes's Mehmet Ferit Özdağ. Mehmet Ferit Özdağ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 minutes, Genco Mutlualp made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kilyos SK's Faik Kabadayı tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilyos SK's goalkeeper Faik Kabadayı, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Derviş Kaçkar's late challenge caught a Kilyos SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derviş Kaçkar helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes TheBusbyBabes got a freekick which was hit by Derviş Kaçkar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sezen Şömel in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Ferit Özdağ saved TheBusbyBabes from getting behind. The Kilyos SK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented TheBusbyBabes from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
