Tanju Başaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Bahri İlkim could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Behçet Olgaç however easily saved by the left post. After 15 played minutes Cagaloglu FK got a freekick which was hit by Atıf Aynacı. Eşref Kutunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Behçet Olgaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bahri İlkim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Kestel's Behçet Olgaç got control of the ball when Bahri İlkim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şehzade Habiboğlu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Behçet Olgaç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cagaloglu FK. Kestel's Behçet Olgaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Kestel from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute of the match, Bahri İlkim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Behçet Olgaç was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Atıf Aynacı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Behçet Olgaç made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şehzade Habiboğlu in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behçet Olgaç saved Kestel from getting behind. Atabek Coşkuner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kestel's goalkeeper Behçet Olgaç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bahri İlkim struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Behçet Olgaç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cagaloglu FK. Behçet Olgaç came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cagaloglu FK's Şehzade Habiboğlu. But to his dismay, Şehzade Habiboğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 67 minutes, Bahri İlkim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cagaloglu FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahri İlkim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kestel's zone, Şehzade Habiboğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behçet Olgaç came out of the goal and Şehzade Habiboğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahri İlkim in the 70th minute of play forced Kestel's goalkeeper Behçet Olgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Atıf Aynacı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cagaloglu FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kestel the free kick. A collision led to Cagaloglu FK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Atıf Aynacı hit a great ball. The supporters of Kestel booed when Cagaloglu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyzullay Enginalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kestel's Atabek Coşkuner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tanju Başaydın. That made the score 1-1 after 85 minutes of play. In the 89th minute, Ferman Ağın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Şehzade Habiboğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Şehzade Habiboğlu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kestel's Behçet Olgaç. Behçet Olgaç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cagaloglu FK had won after a very even match.
