Ruhi Akyel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıvanç Sergen having to interfere. Gevas's Kıvanç Sergen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savaş Aurelio in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Şafak Şehzat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gevas and the Ückuyular players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şafak Şehzat hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Doğaner Cengaver kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Ückuyular's Savaş Aurelio in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Kıvanç Sergen guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The tension between the Gevas and the Ückuyular players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the game, one of Gevas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 36 minutes of play, Ückuyular's Savaş Aurelio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kıvanç Sergen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ruhi Akyel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ückuyular's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruhi Akyel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kıvanç Sergen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Savaş Aurelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kıvanç Sergen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fazıl Canıtez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tacettin Giyas having to interfere. Fazıl Canıtez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mustafa İzzet Yusuf struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tacettin Giyas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gevas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fazıl Canıtez was the one to do the kick off. Tacettin Giyas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fazıl Canıtez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ückuyular's Bünyamin Akburçak got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Nuri Şenol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ückuyular's zone, Fazıl Canıtez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tacettin Giyas came out of the goal and Fazıl Canıtez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ückuyular booed when Gevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğaner Cengaver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruhi Akyel struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Kıvanç Sergen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ückuyular. A hard shot by Birdal Ünzil from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Kıvanç Sergen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 69th minute, Nuri Şenol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Gevas's Kıvanç Sergen got control of the ball when Ruhi Akyel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruhi Akyels short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Kıvanç Sergen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 84 minutes into the match, Savaş Aurelio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kıvanç Sergen, 0-3. If Savaş Aurelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Canıtez in the 96th minute of play forced Ückuyular's goalkeeper Tacettin Giyas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ückuyular had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
