Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sezer Bayraktaroğlu started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Sezer Bayraktaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sezer Bayraktaroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Galatasaray's Sezer Bayraktaroğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cüneyd Özbas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cüneyd Özbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamil Acem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sarper Sayıl fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Sarper Sayıl a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alacam booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarper Sayıl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cüneyd Özbas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezer Bayraktaroğlu in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Galatasaray's Sezer Bayraktaroğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cüneyd Özbas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cüneyd Özbas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamil Acem, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezer Bayraktaroğlu in the 34th minute of play forced Alacam's goalkeeper Cüneyd Özbas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Kamil Acem got a free kick in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Faruk Tutkun during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Ali Faruk Tutkun. Cüneyd Özbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sarper Sayıl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Fethi Batıkan got a free kick in the 44th minute. Çeliker Kızılaslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aysan Tezalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aysan Tezalp was the one to do the kick off. Çeliker Kızılaslan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aysan Tezalp's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Kamil Acem succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 53rd playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sarper Sayıl got free with Cüneyd Özbas in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Aysan Tezalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Doğuş Ganim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aysan Tezalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezer Bayraktaroğlu in the 66th minute of play forced Alacam's goalkeeper Cüneyd Özbas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Alacam's Battal Seyyit İlgi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Battal Seyyit İlgi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Alacam protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Battal Seyyit İlgi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Alacam's Cüneyd Özbas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Alacam from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Kamil Acem could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Cüneyd Özbas however easily saved by the left post. Sarper Sayıl was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Sarper Sayıl got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Çeliker Kızılaslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Orhan Cebeci in the 84th minute of the match. Sezer Bayraktaroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sezer Bayraktaroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sezer Bayraktaroğlu hit a great ball. Alacam's attentive Doğuş Ganim managed to snatch the ball when Ali Faruk Tutkun made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. If Halit Fahri Raid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Although Alacam had been in control for most of the match, Galatasaray still came away with the win.
