Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ali Behzat Mürsel made the kick off and thus started the match. When Galatasaray's Sezer Bayraktaroğlu in 4 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rahim Kurtaran guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Denizlispor's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sezer Bayraktaroğlu 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Kamil Acem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamil Acem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rahim Kurtaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Denizlispor's Berkan Ergüç got a free kick in the 16th minute. Rahim Kurtaran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kamil Acem in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute Süreyya Çeliker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çeliker Kızılaslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Denizlispor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kamil Acem fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Behzat Mürsel came free, but Çeliker Kızılaslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kamil Acem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Azim Yöntem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denizlispor the free kick. In the 40th minute, Azim Yöntem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fethi Batıkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çeliker Kızılaslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süreyya Çeliker in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sezer Bayraktaroğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Süreyya Çeliker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Süreyya Çeliker came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Denizlispor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Süreyya Çeliker couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Denizlispor's zone, Sezer Bayraktaroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rahim Kurtaran came out of the goal and Sezer Bayraktaroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Süreyya Çeliker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Çeliker Kızılaslan. Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Süreyya Çeliker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Çeliker Kızılaslan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Behzat Mürsel's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Hacı Muhammed kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Galatasaray's Çeliker Kızılaslan got control of the ball when Süreyya Çeliker tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes, Berkan Ergüç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denizlispor and the Galatasaray players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berkan Ergüç hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Süreyya Çeliker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Doruk Başoğlu hit a great ball. Ali Behzat Mürsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Behzat Mürsel in the 95th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Çeliker Kızılaslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Denizlispor players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Galatasaray from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
