In the 14th minute Sait Tayuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ogün Songur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Bülent İskender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haşim Saylan in the 55th minute of the match. Ahmet Bülent İskender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşim Saylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ahmet Bülent İskender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haşim Saylan in the 61st minute of the match. Taha Baray's late challenge caught a Siverek JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taha Baray helped the player get up and apologised. Siverek JK's Vural Kıvılcım shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ogün Songur but with some difficulty. After having played for 73 minutes, Erberk Cinel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menderes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erberk Cinel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Menderes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfi Birdal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Menderes's zone, Sait Tayuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ogün Songur came out of the goal and Sait Tayuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Sait Tayuk took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Ogün Songur to make any attempt to save it. If Erberk Cinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Menderes's Erberk Cinel got a free kick in the 100th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Menderes lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
