Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mehmet Fatih Dirayet started the match with the kick off. Beşiktaş's Mehmet Fatih Dirayet suffered a sore thigh after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Volkan Özgur's late challenge caught a Beşiktaş's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Volkan Özgur helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PSG getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Volkan Özgur hit a great ball. Hakkı Kenan Hürmetli might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baki İdris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hakkı Kenan Hürmetli ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute, Ali Faruk Sualp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind PSG's goalkeeper Baki İdris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baki İdris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgay Veysi in the 20th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Gökay Tunalı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mümtaz Veli. Turgay Veysi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turgay Veysi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Baki İdris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Faruk Sualp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Ali Faruk Sualp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Faruk Sualp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, PSG's goal looked a bit too open when Turgay Veysi came free, but Baki İdris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nazım Abdulhakimoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Abdulvahit Yalçınkaya got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baki İdris was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ali Faruk Sualp struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Baki İdris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Turgay Veysi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beşiktaş's supporters rose to their feet, but Turgay Veysi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baki İdris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Seyrani Ataoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Abdulhakimoğlu came free, but Gökay Tunalı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes PSG got a freekick which was hit by Alkın Sureha. In the 77th minute of the match Buğra Tunay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gökay Tunalı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Alkın Sureha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beşiktaş the free kick. A collision led to PSG getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alkın Sureha hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Abdulvahit Yalçınkaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turgay Veysi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Baki İdris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind PSG's goalkeeper Baki İdris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The PSG players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
