Yusufeli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Ömer Cilasun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Erberk Okbaş came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Yusufeli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erberk Okbaş couldn't finish the play. Yusufeli's Bedri Sudi got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mücahit Yamanöz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atabey Necmi during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute of the match İsmail Hakkı Haliç sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mazhar Kutlu skillfully saved the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Erberk Okbaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray F.C's Ender Hatemoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 31 in the game by Bedri Sudi from a close distance when the talented Ender Hatemoğlu managed to make a qualified save. Galatasaray F.C's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bedri Sudi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ender Hatemoğlu saved Galatasaray F.C from getting behind. Ender Hatemoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erberk Okbaş in the 34th minute of play. Mazhar Kutlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şener Akçakoca in the 35th minute of play. Galatasaray F.C's Ender Hatemoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray F.C from getting a goal against them. Cemalettin Yağınalp kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Galatasaray F.C booed when Yusufeli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erberk Okbaş didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Ömer Cilasun was the one to do the kick off. Erberk Okbaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ender Hatemoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Galatasaray F.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Berker Sağun hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Galatasaray F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bedri Sudi came free, but Ender Hatemoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erberk Okbaş took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ender Hatemoğlu. Ender Hatemoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Galatasaray F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bedri Sudi came free, but Ender Hatemoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Ali Ömer Cilasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazhar Kutlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes Yusufeli got a freekick which was hit by Mücahit Yamanöz. When Mücahit Yamanöz fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yusufeli's protests and gave Mücahit Yamanöz a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Ömer Cilasun struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Mazhar Kutlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray F.C. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erberk Okbaş in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ender Hatemoğlu saved Galatasaray F.C from getting behind. Ender Hatemoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erberk Okbaş in the 87th minute of the match. Erberk Okbaş scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ender Hatemoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Erberk Okbaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yusufeli's supporters rose to their feet, but Erberk Okbaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ender Hatemoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yusufeli had won after a very even match.
