Ekinözü's Hıncal Sözer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüknettin Kartal in the 22nd minute of play. Baycan Üke scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hıncal Sözer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Taci Saver hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Ekinözü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hurşit Özbal to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Ekinözü's goal looked a bit too open when Baycan Üke came free, but Hıncal Sözer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fehmi Koryürek during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Ekinözü got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Oğuz Ungur. After 49 played minutes Ekinözü got a freekick which was hit by Cristian-Eduardo Ronaldo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baycan Üke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rüknettin Kartal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Hıncal Sözer made a huge save. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Cristian-Eduardo Ronaldo sped through Bakkalköy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Ceyhan Keçeli. Hıncal Sözer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baycan Üke in the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Cristian-Eduardo Ronaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekinözü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian-Eduardo Ronaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ekinözü had played much better football throughout.
