In the 2nd match minute, Menekse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hazar Memduh to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bahcesaray getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Orhun Pekinturk hit a great ball. After 6 minutes, Hazar Memduh made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bahcesaray's Tarkan Hazar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Aygün Kamver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarkan Hazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Altuğ Alpman in the 14th minute. A collision led to Bahcesaray getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mehmet Emin Ünsi hit a great ball. A hard shot 16 in the game by Aygün Kamver from a close distance when the talented Tarkan Hazar managed to make a qualified save. Bahcesaray's players were relieved. In the 19th minute, Binali Gökkuşağı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Şükrü Uğurlubay sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bahcesaray's Tarkan Hazar didn't even have to move. 34 minutes into the game, one of Bahcesaray:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Şükrü Uğurlubay shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Aygün Kamver's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Tarkan Hazar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fahri Dündaroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Emin Ünsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Hazar Memduh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menekse's supporters rose to their feet, but Hazar Memduh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarkan Hazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Emin Ünsi to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Aygün Kamver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarkan Hazar. Bahcesaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aygün Kamver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 56th match minute, Bahcesaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kürşat Mirkelam to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Emin Ünsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bahcesaray's Abayhan Akkoç got a free kick in the 60th minute. Şükrü Uğurlubay missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 62 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tarkan Hazar right hand side. 64 minutes into the game, Menekse's Hazar Memduh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tarkan Hazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After having played for 72 minutes, Mehmet Emin Ünsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahcesaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Emin Ünsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Emin Ünsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fahri Dündaroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hazar Memduh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aygün Kamver struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Tarkan Hazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menekse. If Hazar Memduh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aygün Kamver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarkan Hazar was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
