When Esrefhoca JK's Uğur Demiray in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kula's goalie prevented a goal. Yağızalp Yurdaşen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Gencalp Yelmen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yağızalp Yurdaşens short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Gencalp Yelmen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ali Cafer Adem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ersan Irmak having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Esrefhoca JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Cafer Adem came free, but Ersan Irmak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Kula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Işık Erek to maneuver through the defense. Ersan Irmak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Cafer Adem in the 19th minute of play. If Seyfettin Kutlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kula booed when Esrefhoca JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polat Sadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Cafer Adem struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ersan Irmak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kula. Uğur Demiray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Yelmen having to interfere. Ersan Irmak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seyfettin Kutlu's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Cafer Adem in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ersan Irmak saved Esrefhoca JK from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Uğur Demiray in the 52nd minute of play forced Kula's goalkeeper Gencalp Yelmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Yağızalp Yurdaşen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kula's Gencalp Yelmen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yağızalp Yurdaşen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gencalp Yelmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızalp Yurdaşen in the 59th minute of the match. Gencalp Yelmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uğur Demiray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yağızalp Yurdaşen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Esrefhoca JK's Özcan Gazzal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Uğur Demiray notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kula's Gencalp Yelmen. Gencalp Yelmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ersan Irmak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfettin Kutlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Uğur Demiray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gencalp Yelmen was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Ali Cafer Adem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencalp Yelmen came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Esrefhoca JK's Uğur Demiray. But to his dismay, Uğur Demiray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Kula's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
