The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüksel Tezalp in the 4th minute of play forced Munca Fk's goalkeeper Atahan Umar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turgay Kağan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tarık İksir showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Kağan Pekin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Munca Fk's goal looked a bit too open when Yüksel Tezalp came free, but Atahan Umar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüsamettin Kamran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Turgay Kağan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Danış Gelenbe kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Kağan Pekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munca Fk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kağan Pekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Turgay Kağan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercüment Birsoy in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Erzincan's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsamettin Kamran came free, but Turgay Kağan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ercüment Birsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercüment Birsoy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Turgay Kağan came out and tried to block the shot, but Ercüment Birsoy slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Munca Fk's Hüsamettin Kamran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turgay Kağan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kağan Pekin struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Turgay Kağan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munca Fk. Turgay Kağan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsamettin Kamran, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Berat Tura made the kick off in the second half. Kağan Pekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 65thth minute of the game Ercüment Birsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erzincan's Turgay Kağan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Turgay Kağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarık İksir in the 71st minute of play. Bektaş Başoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atahan Umar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Erzincan's zone, Ercüment Birsoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turgay Kağan came out of the goal and Ercüment Birsoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the game, Oğuzer Eralkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munca Fk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erzincan the free kick. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Munca Fk! Hasret Özilhan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ercüment Birsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erzincan's Turgay Kağan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Erzincan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birkan Ermiye to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, one of Erzincan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Munca Fk. Ercüment Birsoy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Turgay Kağan. 3-0. Tarık İksir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgay Kağan having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Erzincan's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsamettin Kamran came free, but Turgay Kağan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Bektaş Başoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erzincan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Munca Fk the free kick. Ercüment Birsoy, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Tarık İksir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Munca Fk players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
