Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Altuğ Bayer got the match started through his kick off. Ersin Kazak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tanju Kuthan. Yeniköy SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tanju Kuthan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boğaç Oğuzbala in the 7th minute of play. Altuğ Bayer succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Yeniköy SK's zone, Gökçe Sadak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanju Kuthan came out of the goal and Gökçe Sadak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Altuğ Bayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şentürk Kaymaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Bilal Bayazid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eyüpspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yeniköy SK the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Eyüpspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilal Bayazid to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Gökçe Sadak notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Yeniköy SK's Tanju Kuthan. Tanju Kuthan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tacettin Dilşad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yeniköy SK's Ateş Doğan got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, Eyüpspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilal Bayazid to maneuver through the defense. Tacettin Dilşad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Altuğ Bayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şentürk Kaymaz having to interfere. If Boğaç Oğuzbala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tacettin Dilşad struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Şentürk Kaymaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yeniköy SK. In the 42nd minute, Tacettin Dilşad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şentürk Kaymaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boğaç Oğuzbala in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanju Kuthan saved Yeniköy SK from getting behind. In the 49th minute Eyüpspor were awarded a corner. Arif Nihat Onar went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Arif Nihat Onar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tanju Kuthan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gökçe Sadak made a kick off. If Tacettin Dilşad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Altuğ Bayer came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Yeniköy SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Altuğ Bayer couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute of the match Ateş Doğan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şentürk Kaymaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Şentürk Kaymaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altuğ Bayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 94th minute Gökçe Sadak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanju Kuthan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Yeniköy SK's goalkeeper Tanju Kuthan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boğaç Oğuzbala. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eyüpspor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yeniköy SK.
