Özden Reşat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Köksal Kutlutekin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Gündoğdu's Özden Reşat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Köksal Kutlutekin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Abdulaziz Okatan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenn Ackroyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamil Vechi in the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Özden Reşat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gündoğdu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özden Reşat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Kandira getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Yahya Özalpman hit a great ball. With his leg Köksal Kutlutekin managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Gündoğdu's Özden Reşat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arif Burak Ahsen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Gündoğdu's goal looked a bit too open when Müfit Suavi came free, but Glenn Ackroyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glenn Ackroyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Cangun, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Glenn Ackroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atabey Cenap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kandira's Atabey Cenap in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gündoğdu's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 played minutes Gündoğdu got a freekick which was hit by Yaser Savgat. Haşim Candemir kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Glenn Ackroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Burak Ahsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Yaser Savgat had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Arif Burak Ahsen charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Burak Ahsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gündoğdu booed when Kandira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Burak Ahsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Özden Reşat made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Arda Keçeci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gündoğdu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kandira the free kick. A collision led to Gündoğdu getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Arda Keçeci hit a great ball. Kandira's Kamil Vechi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Glenn Ackroyd but with some difficulty. 56 minutes into the game, Müfit Suavi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Glenn Ackroyd. Müfit Suavi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Gündoğdu's Glenn Ackroyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Gündoğdu from getting a goal against them. If Özden Reşat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Özden Reşat came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Gündoğdu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özden Reşat couldn't finish the play. Köksal Kutlutekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olcay İzci, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Özden Reşat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Köksal Kutlutekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Gündoğdu's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Burak Ahsen came free, but Glenn Ackroyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Kandira's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay İzci came free, but Köksal Kutlutekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahsin Hançer hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Glenn Ackroyd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atabey Cenap in the 75th minute. Özden Reşat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Köksal Kutlutekin having to interfere. Özden Reşat might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Köksal Kutlutekin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özden Reşat ran back to his position shaking his head. Glenn Ackroyd made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Atabey Cenap sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Haşim Candemir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kandira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gündoğdu the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kandira's Haşim Candemir got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Olcay İzci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Köksal Kutlutekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kandira getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Müfit Suavi hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kandira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
