The Kahta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Mecnun Tanyel fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kahta's protests and gave Mecnun Tanyel a yellow card for diving instead. Çelikan Kutal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Fatih Demirman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Kahta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevher Eyüpoğlu to maneuver through the defense. If Akgün Özal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Cevher Eyüpoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kahta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azdavay the free kick. After 21 played minutes Kahta got a freekick which was hit by Cevher Eyüpoğlu. Azdavay's Tolga Baltaş couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kahta. 30 minutes into the match, Azdavay's goal looked a bit too open when Baybora Sefir came free, but Çelikan Kutal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, one of Azdavay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Azdavay. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Akgün Özal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mümtazer Serhun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akgün Özal in the 41st minute. Çelikan Kutal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baybora Sefir in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Akgün Özal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azdavay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akgün Özal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akgün Özal struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Mümtazer Serhun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azdavay. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gökhan Hükümran was the one to do the kick off. Mümtazer Serhun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akgün Özal in the 51st minute of play. If Gökhan Hükümran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes, Azdavay's Tolga Baltaş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mümtazer Serhun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azdavay reached it. After a rather tough play, Kahta's Baybora Sefir got a free kick in the 58th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Gökhan Hükümran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mümtazer Serhun. Kahta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökhan Hükümran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Mümtazer Serhun didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Azdavay's Bedri Batıkan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Gökhan Hükümran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kahta's Mümtazer Serhun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kahta's zone, Gökhan Hükümran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mümtazer Serhun came out of the goal and Gökhan Hükümran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baybora Sefir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çelikan Kutal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevher Eyüpoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mustafa Anıl Özdoru kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Kahta's Baybora Sefir made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Çelikan Kutal was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Baybora Sefir fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kahta's protests and gave Baybora Sefir a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kahta's Baybora Sefir got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Akgün Özal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kahta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Azdavay.
