The supporters of Cay Yesili booed when Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlay Coşkun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raik Dikici came out of the goal and Uğuralp Beybolat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yusuf Ziya Esraf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haşim Arslanoğlu in the 19th minute of play. Cay Yesili's Yusuf Ziya Esraf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşim Arslanoğlu in the 20th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Müjdat Bengialp. If Uğuralp Beybolat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Ali Güralp Baray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cay Yesili the free kick. In the 28th minute, Ali Güralp Baray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hüsnü Ulum hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Baki Levent might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raik Dikici. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baki Levent ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute, Müjdat Bengialp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Uğuralp Beybolat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raik Dikici having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hüsnü Ulum to strike the kick off in the second half. Yusuf Ziya Esraf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Müjdat Bengialp in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Lemi Cansoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Baki Levent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Uğuralp Beybolat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cay Yesili's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uğuralp Beybolat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tahsin Başkur hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Raik Dikici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uğuralp Beybolat in the 69th minute of play. Hüsnü Ulum was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Güralp Baray got free with Yusuf Ziya Esraf in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Ali Güralp Baray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yusuf Ziya Esraf. Cay Yesili's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Güralp Baray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Yusuf Ziya Esraf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Güralp Baray went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Ali Güralp Baray cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Yusuf Ziya Esraf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Işık Tokyüz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
