Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kurtuluş Dilercan made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Buğra Umurbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balikesir the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Selim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buğra Umurbay to maneuver through the defense. If Kurtuluş Dilercan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Kurtuluş Dilercan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atıf Durdu was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Resul Akkoyun was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mehmet Bilge İdrisoğlu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Öztürk Zekai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lefter Çağa having to interfere. The supporters of Selim booed when Balikesir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bektaş Ali Oksay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lefter Çağa came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Selim's Öztürk Zekai. But to his dismay, Öztürk Zekai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ceyhun Kasım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Öztürk Zekai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurtuluş Dilercan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atıf Durdu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Öztürk Zekai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After recieving a nice pass, Selim's Mehmet Bilge İdrisoğlu tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Selim's goal looked a bit too open when Kurtuluş Dilercan came free, but Atıf Durdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurtuluş Dilercan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Atıf Durdu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balikesir. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Öztürk Zekai made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Balikesir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mehmet Bilge İdrisoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Selim's players had a chance to rest. If Kurtuluş Dilercan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atıf Durdu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Resul Akkoyun's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Resul Akkoyun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selim's Atıf Durdu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atıf Durdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Resul Akkoyun in the 67th minute of the match. Resul Akkoyun hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, Balikesir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdi Saygın Kalgay to maneuver through the defense. Öztürk Zekai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lefter Çağa having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Kurtuluş Dilercan made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Selim's Atıf Durdu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Balikesir's Battal Gazi İltemiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Selim's goal looked a bit too open when Kurtuluş Dilercan came free, but Atıf Durdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Resul Akkoyun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurtuluş Dilercan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atıf Durdu having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Kurtuluş Dilercan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Resul Akkoyun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Selim echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Balikesir had held the ball for most of the match.
