Kılıç Pirane might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saip Özatay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kılıç Pirane ran back to his position shaking his head. Kılıç Pirane struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Saip Özatay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paşamandıra. After having played for 11 minutes, Baybora Asutay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baybora Asutay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asrın Kortan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengizhan Gündem in the 21st minute of play forced Paşamandıra's goalkeeper Coşkun Hallaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paşamandıra's Coşkun Hallaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Paşamandıra from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Paşamandıra's Coşkun Hallaç got control of the ball when Baybora Asutay tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 minutes, Hamza Savni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paşamandıra and the FENERBAHÇE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Paşamandıra got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Savni. Coşkun Hallaç was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cengizhan Gündem showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. If Kılıç Pirane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hasan Çağnur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Asrın Kortan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Asrın Kortan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Asrın Kortan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Erdi Mücahit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FENERBAHÇE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paşamandıra the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Erdi Mücahit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paşamandıra's Kılıç Pirane got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Paşamandıra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Paşamandıra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
