After 5 minutes Kovancilar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atahan Akçakaya who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Atahan Akçakaya got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cüneyd Acartürk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cüneyd Acartürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Çağrı Benli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kovancilar's Sezgin Kılıçhan suffered a concussion after 13 minutes and had to leave the field. Semih Özdemir's late challenge caught a Kovancilar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Semih Özdemir helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dündar Polat in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cüneyd Acartürk saved Kovancilar from getting behind. Dündar Polat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Seyfullah Turcan charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seyfullah Turcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Seyfullah Turcan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Cüneyd Acartürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dündar Polat's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Dündar Polat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kovancilar's Cüneyd Acartürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Çağrı Benli in the 27th minute of play. Bumin Tarık's late challenge caught a Dörtdivan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kovancilar's goalkeeper Cüneyd Acartürk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cüneyd Acartürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Çağrı Benli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dündar Polat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baha Erencan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sarper Aksun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Ali Çağrı Benli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyd Acartürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dündar Polat was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bumin Tarık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Dörtdivan's Cüneyd Acartürk threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dündar Polat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kovancilar's Cüneyd Acartürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Kovancilar from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dündar Polat in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cüneyd Acartürk saved Kovancilar from getting behind. Baha Erencan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Sarper Aksun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovancilar. 71 minutes into the match, Dörtdivan's Ali Çağrı Benli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cüneyd Acartürk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the last second Cüneyd Acartürk throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dündar Polat in the 76thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ali Çağrı Benli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyd Acartürk having to interfere. A hard shot 82 in the game by Dündar Polat from a close distance when the talented Cüneyd Acartürk managed to make a qualified save. Kovancilar's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dündar Polat in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cüneyd Acartürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Dörtdivan booed when Kovancilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bumin Tarık didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cüneyd Acartürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dündar Polat in the 87th minute of the match. Baha Erencan succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kovancilar's zone, Dündar Polat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyd Acartürk came out of the goal and Dündar Polat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
