The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahmut Yoruk got free with Burhanettin Refiğ in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Ferit Acaroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saruhan Mert was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nazil Hanedan to make the kick off. Çaykur Rizespor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of HEEYMNC FC for a fine match.
