With his leg Ata Özdeğer managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Hamur SK's Ulaş Hakyemez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bünyamin Deryace kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Ulaş Hakyemez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur in the 7th minute of play forced Tahtakale JK's goalkeeper Ata Özdeğer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Hamur SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ata Özdeğer having to interfere. A collision led to Tahtakale JK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mehmet Ediz İlbaşı hit a great ball. If Ulaş Hakyemez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taha Serol during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hamur SK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Taha Serol hit a great ball. Göktuğ Canbek, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Adnan Rüstem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esen Akşit during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Tahtakale JK defense, Ulaş Hakyemez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ata Özdeğer. The Tahtakale JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ata Özdeğer should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Ediz İlbaşı to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ata Özdeğer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ata Özdeğer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Taha Serol notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tahtakale JK's Ata Özdeğer. Ata Özdeğer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. İbrahim Akçakoca made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Adnan Rüstem sent off a good shot on target. İbrahim Akçakoca acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Göktuğ Canbek. If Ulaş Hakyemez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Hamur SK's Ulaş Hakyemez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ata Özdeğer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ata Özdeğer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
