An unexpectedly hard shot by Çelikan Coşan in the 4th minute of play forced Mavisehir's goalkeeper Mahmut İksir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mavisehir getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ayvaz Oruz hit a great ball. Agah Sertaçgil scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mahmut İksir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Besikdüzü SK's Ahmet Ziya Albay got a free kick in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ensar Bakanay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gökcan Ceyhan. Besikdüzü SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ensar Bakanay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Selahaddin Aktemur made a kick off. Gökcan Ceyhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ensar Bakanay, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes, Selahaddin Aktemur made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Besikdüzü SK's Gökcan Ceyhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Agah Sertaçgil came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Besikdüzü SK fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Mavisehir booed when Besikdüzü SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Seyfi Soysaldı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agah Sertaçgil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mahmut İksir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Ensar Bakanay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gökcan Ceyhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3.
