When Hıdır Teoman came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hıdır Teoman couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akın Ulucan in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Namık Karacabey saved Grande FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Gözlem in the 41st minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper İlbey Evcimen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dorukhan Bayrak hit a great ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Cengizhan Songurhan from a close distance when the talented İlbey Evcimen managed to make a qualified save. Galatasaray's players were relieved.
