Ertunç Fırıncı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erkan Sarıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eşref Günaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ertunç Fırıncı came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Kücükbakkalköy JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertunç Fırıncı couldn't finish the play. Eşref Günaydın came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Tahtakale's Sarper Atasagun. But to his dismay, Sarper Atasagun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Ertunç Fırıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Mazhar Karabulut collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tahtakale fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Kücükbakkalköy JK a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Boğaç Dündaroğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tahtakale's Ferid Eyüpoğlu. 1-1. Ferid Eyüpoğlu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ertunç Fırıncı sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Erkan Sarıoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eşref Günaydın. Kücükbakkalköy JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erkan Sarıoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ertunç Fırıncı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ferid Eyüpoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertunç Fırıncı, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Tahtakale's Erkan Sarıoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eşref Günaydın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. If Ertunç Fırıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Ertunç Fırıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferid Eyüpoğlu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kücükbakkalköy JK's zone, Sarper Atasagun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eşref Günaydın came out of the goal and Sarper Atasagun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ertunç Fırıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferid Eyüpoğlu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tahtakale's Turgay Yağızhan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ertunç Fırıncı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Tahtakale's goal looked a bit too open when İlmi Kaim came free, but Ferid Eyüpoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ertunç Fırıncı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Ertunç Fırıncı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kücükbakkalköy JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ertunç Fırıncı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulaş Tokkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes, Şimşek Günaydın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tahtakale and the Kücükbakkalköy JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Şimşek Günaydın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes of play, Kücükbakkalköy JK's İlmi Kaim made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferid Eyüpoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Although Kücükbakkalköy JK had been in control for most of the match, Tahtakale still came away with the win.
