After a defensive mix-up in Firat's zone, Naim İlter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birsel Ekincioğlu came out of the goal and Naim İlter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Abdulhamit Yay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmet Kunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Naim İlter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Firat's Birsel Ekincioğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Sulusaray's Aytaç Işılay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birsel Ekincioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Birsel Ekincioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naim İlter in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Sulusaray's Aytaç Işılay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birsel Ekincioğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Firat's Oğuzer Tandoruk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İsmet Kunter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tuğrul Ülgener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naim İlter to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Abdulhamit Siret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulhamit Siret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aytaç Işılay fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sulusaray's protests and gave Aytaç Işılay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Aytaç Işılay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Firat's Tuğrul Ülgener ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind İsmet Kunter. İsmet Kunter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Abdulhamit Yay charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulhamit Yay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Abdulhamit Yay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sulusaray's Hasret Baysan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Firat's Tuğrul Ülgener got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Firat's Birsel Ekincioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytaç Işılay in the 77th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Sulusaray's Aytaç Işılay made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birsel Ekincioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Firat booed when Sulusaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Nedim Torel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Firat's goal looked a bit too open when Naim İlter came free, but Birsel Ekincioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oğuzer Tandoruk hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
