Halit Teren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Çelenkoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Sümer Ceri was a little too slow when Ali Nejat Bilgetay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. With an all-out effort, Gölhisar's Sümer Ceri threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Nejat Bilgetay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kepez FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yusuf Bahadır Çelenkoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
