The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Recep Settar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Günalp Hazlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Ordu's Ahmet İlke Fidan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cumali Taşan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Burak Yağızkurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmet İlke Fidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumali Taşan having to interfere. Sercan Namal hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sercan Namal during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute of the match Alaaddin Karakan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cumali Taşan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yomra's zone, Günalp Hazlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cumali Taşan came out of the goal and Günalp Hazlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Ordu's Günalp Hazlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cumali Taşan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Tugay Karakaya was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet İlke Fidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumali Taşan having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Ordu's Günalp Hazlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cumali Taşan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Ordu's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Tugay Karakaya came free, but Bülent Adalı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Arif Tugay Karakaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yomra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Tugay Karakaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Günalp Hazlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ordu's Ahmet İlke Fidan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Günalp Hazlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cumali Taşan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yomra's Cumali Taşan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Yomra from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Günalp Hazlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ordu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ahmet İlke Fidan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Cumali Taşan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Yomra's Ergin Sami got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ordu's Ahmet İlke Fidan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 85th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ahmet İlke Fidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumali Taşan having to interfere. In the 94th minute Günalp Hazlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cumali Taşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Günalp Hazlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Yomra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ordu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
