With a couple of smart ball manuevers Günalp Hazlan in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Macit Özbilir saved Eleşkirt Birlik Spor from getting behind. 25 minutes into the game, Aycan Sungur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eleşkirt Birlik Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ordu the free kick. If İsmail Orhun Yağın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when İsmail Orhun Yağın sped through Ordu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bülent Adalı. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Günalp Hazlan made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ahmet İlke Fidan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eleşkirt Birlik Spor's Ali Macit Özbilir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, İsmail Orhun Yağın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
