Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zülfikar Başayoğlu got the match started through his kick off. Zülfikar Başayoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ilgin's Egemen Dilan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cenk Vacip. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 11th minute Kamil Şafak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanju Cebir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zülfikar Başayoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanju Cebir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zülfikar Başayoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Kamil Şafak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Cebir having to interfere. Cenk Vacip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egemen Dilan in the 26th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Zülfikar Başayoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tanju Cebir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egemen Dilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenk Vacip having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egemen Dilan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Çamdibi Spor's Cenk Vacip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Taybars in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Tuncer Sendur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tanju Cebir. Tuncer Sendur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Kamil Şafak struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tanju Cebir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çamdibi Spor. Çamdibi Spor's Cevdet Ongen got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Aziz Taybars ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cenk Vacip was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 73 minutes into the match, Ilgin's goalkeeper Tanju Cebir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamil Şafak. Aziz Taybars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Çamdibi Spor's zone, Egemen Dilan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cenk Vacip came out of the goal and Egemen Dilan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aziz Taybars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egemen Dilan took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cenk Vacip. Cenk Vacip dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, Ilgin's Namık Kemal Tulum got a free kick in the 91st minute. Çamdibi Spor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
