Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Nafiz Hunalp ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Nafiz Hunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızhan Canel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yigilca's zone, Hurşit Durukan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürbüz Uğurel came out of the goal and Hurşit Durukan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mümtaz Tunçaslan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Ahmet Nafiz Hunalp fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yigilca's protests and gave Ahmet Nafiz Hunalp a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Yigilca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Nafiz Hunalp to maneuver through the defense. Yağızhan Canel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ahmet Nafiz Hunalp sent off a good shot on target. Gürbüz Uğurel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hurşit Durukan in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Yigilca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Numan Mazlum to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Doğa Özdoruk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankaragücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doğa Özdoruk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ankaragücü's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Hazar Yücesoy scored to the left of an out of position Yağızhan Canel, making the score, 1-0. Yağızhan Canel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hazar Yücesoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Yağızhan Canel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hazar Yücesoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Ankaragücü's goal looked a bit too open when Hazar Yücesoy came free, but Yağızhan Canel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ankaragücü's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hazar Yücesoy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hurşit Durukan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürbüz Uğurel having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Yigilca's goal looked a bit too open when Hurşit Durukan came free, but Gürbüz Uğurel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
After a rather tough play, Ankaragücü's Nafiz Zübeyr got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Baybars Azimli hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yigilca's zone, Hurşit Durukan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürbüz Uğurel came out of the goal and Hurşit Durukan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yağızhan Canel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hazar Yücesoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Gürbüz Uğurel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hurşit Durukan in the 77th minute of play. Hurşit Durukan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Ankaragücü's Gürbüz Uğurel threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hurşit Durukan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute, Hurşit Durukan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ankaragücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Doğa Özdoruk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Gürbüz Uğurel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yağızhan Canel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazar Yücesoy in the 98th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
