After 4 played minutes Sefaatli got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Baykan. Ahmet Kadri Ruşeni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Rüştü Murathan made a huge save. Meriç Seçkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Oğuz Barkın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sefaatli's Rüştü Murathan got control of the ball when Ahmet Kadri Ruşeni tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Sefaatli's Alişan Usluer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meriç Seçkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Songurbey Ongel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Iznik JK booed when Sefaatli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Arif Durdu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Songurbey Ongel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rüştü Murathan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Kadri Ruşeni came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rüştü Murathan could save by the left post. After having played for 42 minutes, Ahmet Kadri Ruşeni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iznik JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Kadri Ruşeni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iznik JK's Meriç Seçkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alişan Usluer in the 47th minute of play.

Iznik JK's Meriç Seçkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Iznik JK from getting a goal against them. Rüştü Murathan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Songurbey Ongel's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Iznik JK's goal looked a bit too open when Alişan Usluer came free, but Meriç Seçkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alişan Usluer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
