The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Macit Onursan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haydar Sayhan in the 5th minute of play. When Afsin's Haydar Sayhan in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hacibektas's goalie prevented a goal. Macit Onursan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haydar Sayhan in the 9th minute of the match. Haydar Sayhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macit Onursan having to interfere. Atay Hececi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Haydar Sayhan's late challenge caught a Hacibektas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haydar Sayhan helped the player get up and apologised. Haydar Sayhan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Acun Elmas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Afsin getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Metin Boğatekin hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Atilla Kağan Hozatlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macit Onursan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turan Özgan charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turan Özgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Turan Özgan hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Haydar Sayhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Macit Onursan having to make a save. When Acun Elmas fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Afsin's protests and gave Acun Elmas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Afsin's Acun Elmas got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ahmet Boran Temizsan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zikri Özbilir having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Afsin's Türkeş Ocakçı got a free kick in the 38th minute. Sungur Ramiz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Zikri Özbilir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 45th minute, Hacibektas's Ahmet Boran Temizsan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zikri Özbilir. Zikri Özbilir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Boran Temizsan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Sungur Ramiz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hacibektas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sungur Ramiz couldn't finish the play. Macit Onursan came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Afsin's Atilla Kağan Hozatlı. But to his dismay, Atilla Kağan Hozatlı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ahmet Boran Temizsan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zikri Özbilir having to interfere. Zikri Özbilir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Boran Temizsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute Sungur Ramiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zikri Özbilir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Boran Temizsan scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zikri Özbilir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Boran Temizsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Zikri Özbilir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haydar Sayhan in the 86th minute of play forced Hacibektas's goalkeeper Macit Onursan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Turan Özgan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. The supporters of Afsin booed when Hacibektas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turan Özgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Haydar Sayhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hacibektas's Macit Onursan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atilla Kağan Hozatlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hacibektas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
