Güneş Suha came free with the goalkeeper in the 2nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ant Tolunbay could save by the left post. Ahmet Turan Zoral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 13 in the game by Güneş Suha from a close distance when the talented Ant Tolunbay managed to make a qualified save. Vakfikebir's players were relieved. The supporters of Catalcesme booed when Vakfikebir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güntekin Karabulut didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Boğaçhan Tamay fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Catalcesme got a freekick which was hit by Berkin Akkaya. Ahmet Turan Zoral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yenal Utkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Turan Zoral in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Onur Ali Başesgi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vakfikebir's supporters rose to their feet, but Onur Ali Başesgi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yenal Utkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st match minute, Vakfikebir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batur Şanberk to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Catalcesme booed when Vakfikebir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Köksal Müftüoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedirhan Ongar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güneş Suha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ant Tolunbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Yenal Utkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onur Ali Başesgi in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Catalcesme's Yenal Utkan got control of the ball when Ahmet Turan Zoral tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute Güneş Suha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ant Tolunbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Abdulmelik Özduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ant Tolunbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güneş Suha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vakfikebir's Ant Tolunbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güneş Suha in the 62nd minute of play. Yenal Utkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onur Ali Başesgi's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Ant Tolunbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güneş Suha in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güneş Suha in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ant Tolunbay saved Vakfikebir from getting behind. The supporters of Vakfikebir booed when Catalcesme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efekan Tugal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Catalcesme's Yenal Utkan got control of the ball when Ahmet Turan Zoral tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 played minutes Catalcesme got a freekick which was hit by Efekan Tugal. Yenal Utkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onur Ali Başesgi's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Vakfikebir's goal looked a bit too open when Güneş Suha came free, but Ant Tolunbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Catalcesme's Bedirhan Ongar got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Boğaçhan Tamay came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Catalcesme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boğaçhan Tamay couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Catalcesme getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Özgür Remzi hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Güntekin Karabulut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vakfikebir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catalcesme the free kick. The supporters of Catalcesme booed when Vakfikebir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güntekin Karabulut didn't get a good kick on the ball.
