Despite this Mustafa Birol Kabakçı quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Cayyolu JK's zone, Américo Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Birol Kabakçı came out of the goal and Américo Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cayyolu JK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Demircan Karaalp hit a great ball. KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU's Ümit Ergüç quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arda Göksel Tanalp, made in the 25th minute of the game. Américo Freitas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 27th minute, Jörgen Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cayyolu JK's zone, Ferman Acunman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Kabakçı having to interfere. Américo Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Ersan Demirdelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abay Serter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ersan Demirdelen was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Ersan Demirdelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abay Serter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Cayyolu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demircan Karaalp to maneuver through the defense. Abay Serter acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arda Göksel Tanalp. KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cayyolu JK to leave the ground with a draw.
