KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU's Abay Serter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU from getting a goal against them. The corner led Muradiye's Serdar Hacıağa to fire away a dangerous shot which Abay Serter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Américo Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hüseyin Rahmi Erseven having to make a save. If Américo Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Muradiye's Köksal Hacılar got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Jonasson to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Köksal Hacılar to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU got a freekick which was hit by Atalan Rukni. Muradiye's Bayezit Ubeydullah couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU. Ferman Acunman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Köksal Hacılar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abay Serter having to interfere. With an all-out effort, KIRIKKALE BÜYÜK ANADOLU's Hüseyin Rahmi Erseven threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferman Acunman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 64 minutes into the match, Ferman Acunman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hüseyin Rahmi Erseven. Muradiye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferman Acunman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abay Serter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Çevikcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muradiye's Hüseyin Rahmi Erseven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Freitas in the 73rd minute of play. Muradiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Samir Çevikcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abay Serter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
