Behzat Ozaner took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pekin Kartekin. Pekin Kartekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Göksel Savni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdurrahman Turaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bilge Kağan Seçkiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Abdurrahman Turaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bilge Kağan Seçkiner came out of the goal and Abdurrahman Turaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdurrahman Turaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bilge Kağan Seçkiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sparta FK's Alperen Vuralhan got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Behzat Ozaner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when Sparta FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Kağan Karluk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bilge Kağan Seçkiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göksel Savni in the 33rd minute of the match. Abdurrahman Turaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

GALATASARAY's Bilge Kağan Seçkiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göksel Savni in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göksel Savni in the 55th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Bilge Kağan Seçkiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ümit Uzay kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pekin Kartekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhittin Özmert in the 67th minute of play. If Muhittin Özmert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pekin Kartekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhittin Özmert's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 75 minutes, Abdulbaki Umut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY and the Sparta FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GALATASARAY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! In the 78th minute, Şanver Delfin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sparta FK's zone, Muhittin Özmert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pekin Kartekin came out of the goal and Muhittin Özmert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Muhittin Özmert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Göksel Savni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY's Bilge Kağan Seçkiner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 94 minutes GALATASARAY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mustafa Namık Ilgın who took care of the corner kick. 96 minutes into the game, Şakir Eymen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sparta FK the free kick. After 96 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Şakir Eymen. Abdurrahman Turaç received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bilge Kağan Seçkiner came out and tried to block the shot, but Abdurrahman Turaç slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 97th minute.
