When Cevher Eriş fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardahan's protests and gave Cevher Eriş a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Ardahan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevher Eriş to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Güneri Yalınalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ardahan's Şamil Tayman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adnan Hizanlı was the one to do the kick off. Bekir Uludoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Hizanlı in the 51st minute of the match. If Rüstem Taşcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güneri Yalınalp did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Şamil Tayman 84 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Şamil Tayman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bekir Uludoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Hizanlı in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Güclükonak's Berk Balta got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Adnan Hizanlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Güclükonak's Emrullah Otaran got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Güclükonak's zone, Adnan Hizanlı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bekir Uludoğan came out of the goal and Adnan Hizanlı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, Güclükonak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celalettin Okman to maneuver through the defense. The Ardahan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Güclükonak's performance. The match ended with a win for Güclükonak.
