Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaan Soysal started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Aktaç Mahmut made a precise shot to the right of Derviş Hüdayioğlu. ElazığSpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Aktaç Mahmut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Derviş Hüdayioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Sakaryaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Kaan Soysal came free, but Ataol Osman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Berk Şevket ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derviş Hüdayioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktaç Mahmut in the 20th minute of play forced ElazığSpor's goalkeeper Derviş Hüdayioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaan Soysal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Osman having to interfere. When Berk Şevket came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Sakaryaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berk Şevket couldn't finish the play. Polat Tacim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Osman having to interfere. Aktaç Mahmut scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Derviş Hüdayioğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Sakaryaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Polat Tacim came free, but Ataol Osman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakaryaspor's Ataol Osman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaan Soysal in the 42nd minute of play. Efekan Tokhan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Kaan Soysal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Sakaryaspor's goalkeeper Ataol Osman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Polat Tacim. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aktaç Mahmut to make the kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Aktaç Mahmut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakaryaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aktaç Mahmut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berk Şevket scored 1-5 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Derviş Hüdayioğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Kaan Soysal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suavi Baybora charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suavi Baybora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Suavi Baybora kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Aktaç Mahmut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derviş Hüdayioğlu having to interfere. Polat Tacim struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ataol Osman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ElazığSpor. In the 75th minute, Kaan Soysal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ElazığSpor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Kaan Soysal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ataol Osman having to make a save. Kaan Soysal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Kaan Soysal put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ataol Osman. After some careless play in the Sakaryaspor defense, Polat Tacim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ataol Osman. The Sakaryaspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ataol Osman should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sakaryaspor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
