Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaan Soysal started the match with the kick off. Polat Tacim scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eralp Zübeyr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 played minutes, ElazığSpor's Sancar Mertoğlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eralp Zübeyr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ElazığSpor reached it. Derviş Hüdayioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğuş Güdeş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atacan Nazır blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Derviş Hüdayioğlu having to make a save. Derviş Hüdayioğlu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Atacan Nazır sent off a good shot on target. If Doğuş Güdeş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaan Soysal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eralp Zübeyr having to interfere. In the 26th minute Polat Tacim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eralp Zübeyr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Doğuş Güdeş put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Derviş Hüdayioğlu. Kaan Soysal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eralp Zübeyr having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şensoy Nasip during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Şensoy Nasip kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Polat Tacim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eralp Zübeyr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ElazığSpor's Suavi Uzay got a free kick in the 47th minute. Atacan Nazır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Derviş Hüdayioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Yesilova's Atacan Nazır in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ElazığSpor's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Kaan Soysal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ElazığSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaan Soysal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Namık Kemal Tapgaç charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Namık Kemal Tapgaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yesilova getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Namık Kemal Tapgaç hit a great ball. If Polat Tacim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaan Soysal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eralp Zübeyr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Atacan Nazır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derviş Hüdayioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yesilova's Doğuş Güdeş got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Kaan Soysal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eralp Zübeyr, 1-2. In the 77th play minute Polat Tacim came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eralp Zübeyr. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Atacan Nazır's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derviş Hüdayioğlu was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Acar Raid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Yesilova got a freekick which was hit by Melih Cevdet Tekinsoy. Derviş Hüdayioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Güdeş in the 92nd minute of play. The ElazığSpor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ElazığSpor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
