The AslanSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alkın Dalokay should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeynel Aslan during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zeynel Aslan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Alkın Dalokay had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Abdulkerim Yetkin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sufi Zoral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necmi İkbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Refik Hallaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Necmi İkbal in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sufi Zoral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AslanSpor's Necmi İkbal got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Gürcan Tümer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pars Saner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pars Saner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Alkın Dalokay made a huge save. After 85 played minutes AslanSpor got a freekick which was hit by Gürcan Tümer. Pars Saner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkın Dalokay having to interfere. If Pars Saner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The AslanSpor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Karahisar-ı Şark's performance. The match ended with a win for Karahisar-ı Şark.
